Snoddy is loved by Jock, but can't live up to Jock's expectations of him as a tough 'soldier'. There is a powerful bond of brotherhood among the bikers - all tough, proud men who have 'earned' their patches - there is a sad irony in the fact that the fateful confrontation between the Comancheros and the Bandidos occurred on Father's Day.
Brothers In Arms doesn't so much delve into the hearts of the men as rip them open like a shotgun blast. Love, passionate loyalty, anger, desire and hatred spill out. In its stark uncomfortable truths, and its violent, emotional drive towards tragedy, Brothers In Arms will, for a short while, make audiences bleed as these men bleed and weep as they weep.
