Jock Ross, the violent ex-British military man who called himself the Supreme Commander of the Comancheros, was a devoted 50's rock 'n roll fan. Jock and his second wife Vanessa, herself a legend, were ardent jive dancers who would often clear the floor at club parties. However, in the late 70s, Snoddy formed a band with other members of the Comancheros. They used to play at club parties at a new harbourside clubhouse. Jock hated Snoddy's taste in music.
